1. Guess it’s human nature to make empty promises :(

    1. Omo

It is- but realizing what is empty or full we need to learn for the better. :)

  2. Wow! there’s so much truths in this Haiku. You say it so clearly. Yes, people promise but not keeping it. They just let it go astray. How sad for someone who expects it. It’s like waiting for an eternity to make the promise comes true. It’s better not to promise but do it, if you could.

A very nice Haiku and I love it for the great message worth pondering. Congrats for the 21st round! Keep going, buddy! :)

We better practice to do things while we can- human usually tend to promise and forget- we need to understand the priority and involve our self accordingly. All is matter when things done! :0)

Thank you BB! I’m looking forward to put more life-style in Haiku. ;)

  3. If you could have I’m sure you would add “very” to the last line of Promise.

    1. Omo

May be, “very” is vary! :)

Nicer and nicer! (Mad Hatter would say, taking his top hat and adding: Chapeau, dude! Hmmm. I don’t know about the dude word!)

    You add Philosophy to Poetry!

Don’t be too harsh to human species, we are limited, sometimes we mean to make Promises true… Sometimes we are only mean! :) (Pun, pun, pun… Punish!!

(I’ve got you Elf!, keep out of the keyboard you funny, sonny of a gunny!!).

    1. Omo

Pun is fun and promise isn’t for keeping it- either astray or else- fill it! We mean and we meant! ;)

  8. It is the error of man to come up with the concept of promise. Our very own imperfection makes us unsuitable of its practice :-)

    1. Omo
