How much changes are done in design aesthetics trends now a days, comparing to 2008?
My design from October, 2008.
Here’s another design from March, 2011.
The bold changes in current trends are mostly:
a) Tons of free web-fonts (Typography).
b) Mobile friendly UI Elements (responsiveness, and more spacing).
And greater JavaScript usage!
Rawloop is one of my favorite work- I’d created it (late 2010 to early 2011) to basically learn Kohana (HMVC PHP5 framework) and try-out few things for BloggersDotCom in a separate code-base. With the same system (along with other design), I’ve had done Copa.com, a sports web-site designed specially for sharing photos/videos/news of FIFA world cup 2010, later the domain was acquired by Copa Airlines.
I look down Rawloop.com, for lack-of-time to update the site.
Rawloop (the code-base) is a replacement of Pligg.
Pligg, the CMS I’ve used for most of the projects done by Moonrank USA LLC, in early days. Now a days Pligg is decreasing in popularity (and once again they upped for sale Pligg sold for $50,600)- may be sometime in the future, I should open-source the code-base for the Rawloop!
Maybe, a rewrite to make it a complete CMS? May be it would be fun (if time permits)- :)
Update: In 2007, Pligg tried to sale for $150,000- after I’d released Cligg, the clone of Digg w/ Pligg, the CMS got a huge traction that time.

Thank you so much, Omo, for sharing some of your works. I haven’t got to know you then!
You’ve done a lot, surely many more to come.
Wishing you the best for years to come! :)

Appreciate much, BB- :))
You know, I used to say “I have done many miracles, I will do miracles many more times” to the things at work that coined as the “Impossible” at times-
Thank you! Wishing you the best for you, too! :)
