Code is Poetry

Duh! How time files~

Last year I first started using Grunt into my Development process- rendering LESS was the starter- later moved to SASS/SCSS.

The fun lead to utilizing more and more automated task for WordPress development (for example automated RTL version of the CSS, making MO/PO etc), but then focus distributed to too many things like Designing the UI, then preparing code-base to testing out UX. Eventually along with tons of trail and test, the whole product evolution went on and Design gets a shape.

Not to mention- then the black-whole shines my life-in-between too (those ‘Who Am I‘ posts noted a few things though). Had had to move on, anyway.

When got back into finalize the code- multiple revision took place, Design-Code-Test, repeat again, innovating new ways to do the thing and so so. Finally, time comes to build-up the release. Pleasingly, built few things that’s unique to current WordPress echo system.

Now, looking into the WordPress Core development process just feels amazing- they too merged into last year and even built coolest cool WordPress Frontier thingy- A New Frontier for Core Development.

I just have had to rearrange my setup and make it same same. Next step should be to check into their Unit Testing methodology and build process for my codes.

Mixed feelings is that- how on earth I took that many month to sit for release!! Duh!!

  1. wow.. never knew you code too ^_^

    1. Omo

Near half of my life I’ve been into Programming- Hahaha! :P

Glad to find you, Aj- :))

  2. Did you design for WordPress or was it your own project?

    1. Omo

I’ve been working for a new WordPress product line up (Commercial WordPress Themes) for my latest venture I’ve founded earlier this year, called “Splendous”, with a small team I’ve been leading. I started to working from scratch again-

I had to form a new company- due to the criminal attempt of my ex-partner, I shut-down all activities under Moonrank, now looking back I see one whole year just wasted from my life (year 2013)- it was really hard to accept the lose (7-8 years of making Moonrank USA LLC, just washed away).

Although came in touch with WordPress in its founded year (long long time ago), I ran few personal Blogs too- under the Moonrank I worked with couple tiny WordPress projects for clients, but only been attempting to build something commercial since last year. WordPress got a huge code-base those days- it took quite a long time to get my hands on whole WordPress Core (you know, I’m crazy). :))

Only, that, recovering took a long time, now feels a bit odd- Hoping to put some mark on the area coming days. :D

    2. In spite of the criminal attempt by your ex-partner and your down-fall due to that, it’s good to see you rise back from it and hope to see you shine brighter than before. :)

Good luck for your new venture ! :)

      1. Omo

Falling and Rising are tangled tightly in surviving Life! :)))

        Thanks a lot, Kitty- :)

  3. Omo, When you and AJ talk about this coding thing, I’ve to listen and keep quiet. The rest need not be said. Hehehe.

Nice to see Aj here. Hi AJ! :)

Ok back to what you said Omo. Glad to note that your spirit is soaring high even after experiencing the irresponsible act of your so called partners. That’s it, get up and keep going!

Wishing you a more successful years ahead! :)

    1. Omo

Will your nail be kept intact while you listen? :)))

You’re right BB- I’ve got back my “inconvincible” spirit. A lots of “jump” I’ll be doing next- :D

      Thank you so much, BB-
